Pinit: Pinterest for WordPress

Pinit Pinterest per WordPress

Today I’m here with a new WordPress Plugin named Pinit: Pinterest for WordPress.

Pinit allows you to add one of the Pinterest Widgets to your WordPress site in a simple and code-free way. In addition, Pinit adds the required JavaScript file to your site’s footer, optimizing page loading time.

I needed something like this to use in a customer’s website, but all the plugins on the WordPress Directory are outdated or don’t include what I was searching for, so I decided to build this simple plugin, which will be extended in the future with new functionalities.

You can download version 0.3 from This version includes the following features:

  • Pin Widget
  • Profile Widget
  • Board Widget

Moreover, this comes with support for the following languages:

  • English (built-in)
  • Italian (not 100% complete yet)

You can contribute by translating this very few lines into your language (it’ll take less than 5 minutes). If you think this plugin needs some other functionalities or find any issue, please let me know by submitting a new issue on GitHub.

And if you want to support my coding efforts, please consider donating.
