Melany WordPress Theme 1.0.0 Beta

After a long development period, I’m excited to announce the first (and hopefully the only one) Beta Release of Melany, the clean and minimal WordPress Theme.

Let me say that I’m glad to see that more than 1900 people downloaded it from wordpress.org and at least tried it. If you like it, please spend some time to write a review.

With this new major version I revamped Melany introducing Bootstrap 3.0 along with a bounch of new features. You now have more possibilities to customize your theme by changing menu and footer colour (3 colour schemes supported: light, dark, and green), adding a custom header image, custom footer text and much more!

Melany now supports static front page too, allowing you to deeply customize it: easily change background and text color through WordPress Theme Customizer (under Appearance > Customize).

I also added support for Image Post Type, so you can focus the user’s attention on the image and leave other stuffs in the background.

Italian translation is included too.

Now it’s time to test this brand new version and report any issue you find!

Huge thanks to Mirko Pizii (hallino1) for the great work he’s done in this cycle.
