A snowy Easter Monday

Let’s start writing some posts in English to let my english followers understand what I write here in my blog. I want to begin with something idle, talking about…yesterday. However I promise I’ll write about something useful sometime, don’t worry!

After spending the day with my family, Sunday (Easter) evening I went to Asiago with a friend of mine. There some other friends were waiting for us in a beautiful apartment owned by one of them, Mary. For those who don’t know, Asiago is a little town in the mountains, not so far from the place where I live (it’s only an hour by car). It’s a nice place, very well known most of all for the namesake cheese they produce there.

We already know it snowed during the day, but you don’t expect to find so much snow at the end of March 1000m above sea level! However, the streets were clean and we didn’t have problems driving to the house. And there there were friends, beer, and a delicious cake made by one of them (a friend obviously, not a beer).

The day after, Easter Monday, we woke up in the middle of the morning and you can see in the picture above what we sow out of the house: the landscape was beautiful, but we can’t say the same thing about the grey sky. Nevertheless, during the afternoon the Sun shined so clearly that looking outside nearly burned our eyes.

We drove back home towards the evening, after playing with all that snow and having launch late. It’s been a great day and I think we all needed some rest, some time to spend in peace.

But today – a day half Monday half Tuesday – we returned to our uneasy habit and I personally have a lot of work to do.
